From a Blown Knee to a Night Shift on the Ice

I still train legs twice a week. At sixty-two the rink does not get easier. It does get honest.
A serious knee injury ended my years as a police detective and amateur hockey player in the old way — the way that pretends you can white-knuckle biology. I could not. The decade that followed was a health crisis, a faith reckoning, and an education in food, minerals, and recovery.
The American Dream I inherited from my father was work, duty, and showing up. When he died, and when a whistleblower season cost a job, the dream had to be rebuilt around a different kind of strength: the temple, the plate, the record you own.
I returned to the ice. PreFormance ME is the system I wished had existed when the knee went — for athletes, for families, and for anyone claiming health freedom without a concierge clinic.
